Ridgeway Rise is a 73‑bed, purpose‑built care home in Swindon, Wiltshire. We provide nursing, residential, dementia, respite and palliative care in one open, inclusive environment where every resident can feel at home and focus on doing the things they love.

Our Destination Points are thoughtfully designed spaces created with input from residents to reflect the interests and routines that matter most. They offer welcoming, calm corners for everyone, with particular value for people living with dementia. These areas give residents a place to pursue hobbies, learn something new, enjoy a change of scenery, spend time with visitors, or simply sit and reflect.

A Destination Point For Every Interest

Each Destination Point is interactive and themed to encourage engagement. In our Music corner, residents can explore instruments, listen to records, browse music books and connect with others about their favourite artists. The Seamstress Room features a working sewing machine, patterns and memorabilia that bring familiar skills and memories to life.

Our Alice in Wonderland area, Art Corner and Library provide further variety to daily life at our care home in Swindon. Some residents enjoy quiet reading time, while others like to sketch or join a small creative group. These spaces are designed to feel inviting, with clear sight lines, comfortable seating and personal touches that make each corner distinctive and easy to recognise.
