Exceptional Care in Challenging Times
Our clear purpose has always been, and remains, to deliver exceptional care by compassionate people in a home from home environment.
We are simply in awe of some of the personal sacrifices our front-line teams have made to ensure the health and wellbeing of our amazing residents remains the number one priority during this crisis. We have worked incredibly hard to ensure all our staff are well equipped, well informed, well trained and ready and eager to care for all our residents.
While we continue to navigate our way through these unprecedented times, we wanted to share this short video featuring a selection of our wonderful front line teams and residents, sharing their thoughts and feelings together with feedback as to how they have responded to the challenges we have faced.

Ridgeway Rise consists of six small communities, each benefiting from a light and airy lounge and diner, thoughtfully equipped residents’ kitchenette and fully assisted bathroom. All communities were named after local, well recognisable locations, including Brunel Way, Blunsdon Manor, Coate Water, Lydiard Park, Highworth Lodge and Pipers Way.
Our community café at the reception is at the heart of our home and offers a warm, relaxed place to catch up with friends and family over a brew and homemade cakes. Our café is regularly used by different groups and events and is a buzzing hub for the local community.
If you prefer a quieter environment, our dedicated quiet areas offer a lovely alternative to meet with visitors in private.

Our gardens are fully secured, with wheelchair-friendly paths for everyone to enjoy. In the worse weather, our upper floor balconies offer a different way to enjoy some fresh air.
A central lift ensures everyone can access all our facilities with ease.

Find out what our Friends think

My mother Linda is a resident at your care home, I would just like to say that this is a message from me and my wife to say what an absolutely fantastic job you guys are doing in looking after everybody’s relatives. As a sign of appreciation we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your efforts during this very trying times, not only for our relatives that are staying with you but also for us – children, parents and loved ones of those in your care. Obviously without us being able to come see them personally it’s been a stressful time and it is an absolute fantastic job you are doing making sure they are safe during this time and as I said before this is a message of appreciation and of thanks for making mom happy and safe.
Ridgeway Rise is an amazing place. It is only a few years old and purposely built to keep residents safe and well cared for. Family are always welcome and welcomed. Regular in-depth reviews keep the family well informed with the amazing care relatives receive. Any concerns are dealt with efficiently and with great care. This is the second home my aunt has been in and she settled so quickly due to the level of considerate care she receives. The staff are professional but also very caring at the same time. It is very reassuring that there is nursing care available at all times. It is like staying in a 5* Hotel always sparkling clean and the food is of a similar standard. Very appealing and a choice at every meal.
When we entered my dad in your home early this year we didn’t think he would still be here, however you are absolutely amazing. You have managed to get him to put weight on and to start eating, sores that we didn’t event realize how bad they were, have now improved and it’s all down to the dedication, love and care of all the team members at the Home. When I first came for a show around Gabriel met us at the door and explained everything. It instantly felt like home. I looked around and all the carers were smiling, residents seemed happy. Havening worked in a home as well I know that is often not the case. For all your hard work especially during these difficult times on behalf of all Ray’s family I just want to say the biggest thank you ever. Without you I do not know what we would have done, we appreciate everything.
My father moved in 12/10/19 extremely distressed. I can honestly say he has now settled in and is so much more relaxed.
The whole care team are amazing and my family and I would like to thank the whole team for finally letting our whole family relax.
The staff are extremely knowledgeable, caring, very attentive, always have time for relatives and nothing appears to be too much trouble.
It is our view that at this point in my mother’s life we, as a family, are more than happy for her to be within the care of Ridgeway Rise, especially when you hear all the horror stories from within the “care community”.
Many thanks to you all.
Dear absolutely everyone at Ridgeway Rise, you are all amazing, thank you so much for all your love, care and attention to our loved ones of what’s been a challenging few months for you. I think about you lots every day, I particularly miss my mom, miss coming to the home, miss seeing your smiling faces, but it’s been great to be able to catch up with all that you have been doing on the Facebook page. All the amazing ideas and activities that go on all the time and see what your doing to keep yourselves buoyant as a team. Absolutely great, Bella you should be proud of your team. Please take care of yourselves and hope to see you soon, lots of love to you all and cannot wait to come to the home and have one of Jo’s celebration cakes.
